Continuing your journey, veer left and pass under the Tanki Rt bridge, revealing a picturesque field of water chestnuts that sprawl across the landscape. Amidst this verdant scenery, an ancient fortification will emerge, standing as a testament to the passage of time. Discover Lesendro, a place steeped in history and sorrow, now transformed into a haven for avian creatures. Depending on the time of year, you'll have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of bird species as they gracefully dry their wings on the remnants of the fortification, basking in the warm sunlight. Against this backdrop, the resilient Vranjina Island rises from the pristine waters of the lake, while the Morača River converges nearby, serving as a vital water source. Glide closer to one of the two bird reserves on Lake Skadar, immersing yourself in the natural wonders.
