SNORKELING AT THE SANDY REEF Prompt and friendly pickup from your choice of locations, whether on the beach side or cliffs. Once SUNBABY is anchored at the coral reef, our crew will guide you around and point out all the exciting sea creatures, including starfish, sand dollars, blow fish, octopus, sea cucumber, sting ray, sea turtle, and of course brilliantly colored tropical fish. Captain Roger and his crew swim with you, show you things you won’t see by yourself and even pick up starfish and sea cucumbers for you to hold. The Captain and crew are very careful and respectful of the reef and environment. Price: • $30-$35 per person Island Picnic - Many of our guests work up an appetite after snorkeling and want to venture to Booby Cay Island for a Jamaican-style picnic. The island is about a 15-minute boat-ride from the reef. Once you get to the Island, you can purchase fresh lobster and/or fish. We do not provide lunch. The fishermen at the Island sell their lobster for $15-20 per, depending on the size. This is a great experience, even if you are a vegetarian! (This addition to your snorkeling trip is only $15 per person; WE DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR LUNCH. YOU PAY THE FISHERMEN DIRECTLY.).. Shoreline Sightseeing Tour - Some guests want to ride up and down the beach and cliff shoreline to see all of the resorts from the "waterfront" perspective. There are also beautiful views of the mountains and other landmarks. Once you reach the cliffs, our Captain will take you into the caves where you can spend a little time swimming and taking pics if you like. (This is $30 per person - no cost if you book the full package - snorkeling, Booby Cay and sunset cruise) Sunset Cruise - Many people want to top their evening off with a magnificent sunset cruise where they can also watch the divers or listen to live music at the famous Rick's Cafe. You are welcome to bring your own cooler filled with goodies if you wish. ($45 per person) Early morning fishing - You have the option of "strolling" where you can catch the larger fish such as tuna and black fish for $90 per hour or you can do "Bottom" fishing where you catch smaller fish like grouper and grunt for $60 per hour. (2 hour minimum - you can invite up to 5 people on the boat) *Group rates and child rates are available.
