We have been providing families and anglers many happy and fun filled fishing trips from Ocean City, MD to Hatteras, NC for the past 30 plus years. We troll, chunk, chum, live bait, drift, kite, jig -- you name it and we'll try it. We use dead rigged bait and lures when trolling, normally using 6 or more rods. We use the appropriate bait when we bottom fish, chunk or chum. We provide all tackle and bait for the trip but you may bring your own weapon (rod and reel) of choice. The fishing day normally begins between 5 am (offshore) or 6 am (inshore). Inshore fishing consists of Shark, Bluefish, Sea Bass, False Albacore, King Mackerel, Cero Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Rockfish and more. The inshore fishing ride is usually an hour or less. Offshore fishing consists of Marlin, Tuna, Swordfish, occasional Sailfish or Spearfish, Dolphin fish, Wahoo, Tilefish, Sea Bass, False Albacore, and more! The offshore fishing ride is usually an hour and a half or more. Ocean City is a wonderful place to bring your family. There are lots to do and see, it is generally well kept and clean, the weather is usually very nice and the fishing is normally very good. What To Expect Onboard: The "Muff Diver" is a 1984 Ocean Yacht, refitted throughout in 1992 and re-powered in 2003 with twin 500 hp Northern-Lights/Lugger 6125A Diesel. In 1992 she went through extensive remodeling to make the vessel more charter fishing friendly. The "Muff Diver" has heat/air conditioning, TV/VCR, stereo, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker and other amenities. The cockpit, planned with the fisherman in mind, is fully equipped for offshore fishing. There is a large kill box for your catch with an ice machine feeding it to ensure your catch is kept fresh. There are two chairs, or one chair, a rocket launcher or nothing in the cockpit depending on the kind of fishing to be done. She has a full state of the art electronics. Maximum of six (6) people/anglers allowed on a charter.
