The Lowe SS250 Super Sport Pontoon offers comfortable seating for up to 12 people, a Bimini Top for shade and a 115hp motor which makes this the perfect boat rental for spending a day near Shell Island. Must be at least 31 years old to rent the boat without having to take a safety boating license course online. Please see below for the pictures that are needed for both check in and check out. Be sure to refuel the boat to the same fuel level it was at when you began the rental. If the owner has to refuel the boat, then a $50 service charge will be added in addition to the gas. CHECK IN Take pictures of: Front of the boat Back of the boat Propeller A code for the combination box containing the boat key will then be sent to you. After turning the boat on, immediately send a picture of the gas gauge. CHECK OUT Take pictures of: Front of the boat Back of the boat Propeller Gas gauge Place boat key back in combination box and text a picture to the owner’s assistant. Rules and Regulations: Owner gives consent for Renter to operate its equipment in a safe and prudent manner. Renter agrees to observe all safety rules, operating instructions, warning decals, and legal boating statutes including but not limited to the 5 Important Rules - wearing life-jackets, avoiding alcohol & drugs, propellor zone awareness and avoidance, idle speed only within 100’ of anything (structure, boat, swimmer, shore, etc) and avoiding excessive speed, wakes, and waves. Owner does NOT consent for renter to operate its equipment in violation of our safety rules, operating instructions, warning decals or legal boating statutes including but not limited to the 5 Important Rules. Renter agrees that in violation of owners rules & instructions, his operation of equipment is WITHOUT owners consent, and shall therefore safely and immediately return equipment to owners premises for termination of the rental. Renter warrants that he is qualified and competent to operate equipment and agrees not to operate equipment unless properly trained and completely understanding all safety and operational instructions. Renter agrees not to leave equipment unattended, and to operate equipment within specified areas in a careful and prudent manner at all times. Renter warranties that he is familiar with the State’s legal boating statutes and agrees to operate equipment accordingly. Rental fee includes a watercraft equipped for cruising. Gas and oil are additional, at the expense of Renter. Renter examines all equipment prior to use and agrees equipment is in good condition except for any defects which owner has listed in this written agreement after inspection and prior to use. Renter further agrees to return equipment in same condition as received, to pay for any loss or damage to equipment including all costs incurred by owner for damage repair, equipment replacement, equipment retrieval, and the daily rate of charter while equipment is being repaired or replaced. If loss or damage exceeds the deposit, renter must pay the difference. By signature below, Renter hereby authorizes owner to charge their credit card for any loss or damage. Renter and passengers agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owner from and against any and all liabilities, losses, costs, damages, expenses including attorney fees, claims, suits, and judgements in connection with the injury or death of any person(s), loss or damage to any property including property of renter, arising out of or relation to the equipment or conduct of owner regardless of whether such injury, death, loss or damage results in whole or part from any negligence or, tort, liability of or breach of any duty owed under contract or statute by owner. If collision, accident or casualty occurs, renter agrees to furnish owner with a complete report of the same immediately in writing including the names and addresses of all witnesses and persons involved. Renter agrees not to sublet or loan equipment to any other person, and agrees to return equipment to owner by the time and date shown on this contract. Upon failure to return equipment when due, Renter shall be liable for late charges and shall be deemed to have converted equipment to his own use. No smoking is allowed on the boat at any time, any burn marks will be charged to client.
