Whale Watching in Akureyri

Whale watching In middle of May the Humpback Whales are swim into Eyjafjordur from the pacific ocean where they have their calves (babies). From May to November we can often see the whales. From May to late July we offer our whale watching tours in the late afternoon so you can enjoy the whales and the midnight sun in Iceland. The humpback whales are the most common around here but we also see minke whales and several species of Dolphins. Availability: May – November Please bring: Warm clothes and swimsuit for the hot tub after the tour. Included: Transport from Akureyri to our dive center at Hjalteyri. Max:6-8. In many of our tours we can see the whales. Of course we stop and do whale watching, it is a big bonus in the tours and included in the Tour.
