At only a few miles from the harbour you can encounter a large number of game fish including Pacific Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Spearfish, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Dogtooth Tuna and Yellowfin Tuna. Our boats are custom built for game fishing in all weather and sea conditions, offering comfort with speed and style. We only use top quality Shimano reels and Ian Miller rods and an assortment of the latest game fishing lures available. All of our tackle is to IGFA regulations and ready for setting the next record. We cater for all styles of fishing, such as bait and switch, deep sea jigging, popper fishing and saltwater fly fishing. Whether you prefer stand-up heavy tackle fishing or fighting from our game chairs, we are more than happy to accommodate your requests. We have friendly, highly experienced Skippers and Crew who are the most experienced in Port Vila. We cater for both experienced and beginner anglers and offer expert tuition to make your fishing experience more enjoyable. Our Charter boats are available for full day and half day charters. All of our vessels are moored at the Waterfront Bar & Grill, Lini Highway, Port Vila which is also a great spot for an afternoon drink. Our company has been operating in Vanuatu for the last ten years which ensures that we have the enthusiasm and passion required to ensure that you have a fantastic day out on the water. Our team has a wealth of knowledge of game fishing with both light and heavy tackle and all methods of game fishing, they are more willing to discuss options prior to your departure. The legendary Charles is the Owner and Skipper of Nevagivup and has been fishing out of Port Vila for the last ten years. He is originally from England where he spent many years hunting fox hounds and playing Polo. In the off season, he was travelling around game fishing, fishing in many places around the world as an avid angler. The call then came to come and fish Vanuatu for Blue Marlin and he has never left. Charles has decided to make Vanuatu his home and he now has a family as well! Charles has 5 World Records to his name and over 40 Vanuatu Records as well. He has also been the Skipper for Tom Evans, who specializes in World Records for Marlin on Fly, and Tom has two records with Charles. The list of tournament wins for Nevagivup and Charles is growing every year. What ever your style of fishing, Charles is more than happy to accommodate your request or to chase the next record.
